The Urban Tree Strategy is being presented at the City’s Planning and Environment Committee on Tuesday, June 9th. Following that, it is planned to be presented at City Council on Wednesday, June 24th.

The proposed strategy:
The strategy includes a proposed tree conservation by-law for the urban area of Ottawa.  For more information on the proposed strategy, the report can be found here:

Providing support:
If you would like to provide your support for this project or comment on it, you can either do so in person at the meeting or you can provide written comments.
If you plan to attend on June 9th, the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. And you can fill in a “Request to Speak” form at the door. The Committee agenda can be found here:
