Written by It’s that time of year again where our streets, parks, and sidewalks need some TLC after the winter thaw. On the morning of Saturday, May 4, a team of volunteers will comb our way through the community, picking up garbage as we go. As part of the GLAD Cleaning the Capital initiative, bags and vinyl gloves are provided. However, we suggest bringing your own heavier garden gloves if you have any. Dress appropriately for the weather, and meet at 9:00 AM at the Heron Park Fieldhouse. Lunch will be provided after our clean up.
