Meet your neighbours, enjoy some sweets, and chat about what’s going on in the neighbourhood. HPCA President Mike Little is piloting a new schedule intended to keep the meeting on time while ensuring everyone has their voice heard. The new format is as follows:
Starting December 3, there will be three parts to the meeting: a welcome time for quick socialization, a time for community news to be shared, and then discussion of issues.The goal of this change is to respect people’s time and keep meetings as short as possible. You’ll also have a chance to chat with your neighbours. We’ll get through the community news quickly and save the comments until afterwards. There will be opportunities to write down your comments, and written comments get discussed first. No matter the volume of your voice, you’ll be heard.
