Written by The city will be replacing the Kaladar park splash pad. The existing classic one is going to be turned into a sitting area, because it’s too small for a new pad. The new pad will be closer to the school (See map below). This new design will be accessible and maybe a little splashier.
The city will host an online consultation with us next month to discuss this replacement.
Kaladar Park – 2020 Lifecycle replacement project of spray posts with a splash pad
1. Decommission the existing spray posts, reinstate the area as a seating area with existing rocks.
2. Locate new splash pad to the north of the existing play structure. Provide
accessible bench near the splash pad.
